In October of 2020, Aventiv partnered with Televerde to power our inbound phone call engagement centers. These centers, staffed by incarcerated women, provide live customer support to friends and families of incarcerated individuals communicating with their loved ones using Securus and JPay products. The partnership that began with 45 incarcerated women working as customer service agents has grown to more 100+ agents. In addition to the customer service agents currently enrolled in the Aventiv-Televerde partnership program, an additional 86 women have either successfully graduated or moved on to another program within the Department of Corrections. To date, these customer service agents have logged almost 1.7 million customer calls, while developing critical professional and communication skills necessary for a successful reentry.
