Alicia Rasta Named Finalist for CRN’s 2025 Women of the Year Awards

Second Consecutive Year Recognizing Her Leadership and Impact

We’re thrilled to share that Alicia Rasta, vice president and head of Global Sales at Televerde, has been named a finalist in the Executive Mentor of the Year—Solution Provider category for CRN’s 2025 Women of the Year Awards. This marks Alicia’s second consecutive year as a finalist, and it’s recognition that reflects her deep commitment to building equitable workplaces and guiding the next generation of women leaders in tech and sales.

Alicia began her career with Televerde more than 15 years ago while incarcerated at the Arizona Department of Corrections Perryville. Today, she leads our global sales organization and is the driving force behind a first-of-its-kind reentry program that helps women transition from prison to professional sales careers. Launched in 2022, the program creates a path from Televerde’s inside sales development track to coveted Account Executive roles at our corporate headquarters… within one year of release. Two years in, 60 percent of participants have achieved that goal, with five women now thriving in AE roles. The program’s success directly reflects Alicia’s vision, mentorship, and belief in what’s possible.

But Alicia’s influence doesn’t stop at job readiness. She’s a consistent, steady presence in the lives of the women she mentors, helping them navigate everything from resume prep and deal cycles to parenting, parole meetings, and rebuilding self-confidence.

“Being named a finalist again is an incredible honor,” said Rasta. “But the real privilege is watching women I once trained inside our call centers close their first deals, lead client meetings, and thrive in roles they never thought possible. These women are resilient, brilliant, and hungry to succeed. I just give them the tools and a hand to hold as they take that next step.”

Jenny White is the first graduate of Alicia’s reentry program. She became a full-time Account Executive just one year after her release from Perryville prison. For her, this recognition is deeply personal:

When I got out, I didn’t even know if I could make it through the doors of corporate America, let alone walk in like I belonged. Alicia believed in me before I believed in myself. She never let me forget what I was capable of. And every time I felt like I didn’t measure up, she reminded me that I already had everything I needed. I owe so much of where I am today to her.”

The 2025 CRN Women of the Year Awards celebrate women, companies, and allies helping reshape the IT channel by advancing equity, innovation, and leadership. Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala in New York City in December 2025.

Congratulations, Alicia. You make all of us at Televerde proud.
