Celebrating the Heart of Televerde
Every year, as the calendar turns its page to March, an air of excitement sweeps through Televerde’s unique prison-to-workforce centers in Arizona. These centers, which, at a glance, operate with the efficiency and professionalism of any top-tier contact center, are where remarkable transformations unfold. The individuals at the heart of these operations? A group of incredible women, donned in orange, who are laying the foundations for their future careers while driving business results for some of the most renowned enterprise companies in the world.
At Televerde, we’ve always believed in the power of recognition. It’s the cornerstone of our culture and an integral part of our operations. These women, though technically not Televerde employees, are treated as valued members of our organization. To this end, we ensure that appreciation and recognition are a constant presence in their daily work lives.
However, there’s something special about March. It’s when we take appreciation to the next level with our Appreciation Days held across our three Arizona centers. For one day at each center, business as usual is paused. The usual hum of busy calls and clicks is replaced with music and laughter as the karaoke machine takes center stage. The atmosphere is charged with joy and camaraderie, contrasting the typical workday, as these incredible women are served delicious food brought in from the outside, a simple yet profound token of our gratitude. And yes, it’s us, the Televerde leadership team, who have the honor of serving them. It’s a role reversal we cherish, an opportunity to express our profound gratitude for their dedication and the immense value they bring to our operations.
The highlight of the day? The speeches of gratitude. It’s a moment that often leaves many of us searching for the right words to express our admiration for these women. They are Televerde’s secret sauce, and their resilience, talent, and hard work drive our success.
This year’s Appreciation Days were no different. The laughter, the singing, the shared stories – every moment was a testament to the incredible community we’ve built together.
