Why I’m Finally Saying “Yes” to SAP Sapphire
If you’ve been in the SAP ecosystem for any length of time, you know SAP Sapphire is more than just a conference. It’s where ideas turn into strategy, relationships turn into partnerships, and technology turns into real business impact.
For years, I’ve been the “behind-the-scenes” person supporting SAP and their partners. I’ve worked closely with SAP marketers and stakeholders since 2017, helping to make sure programs run smoothly, campaigns are successful, and customer experiences are meaningful. Every year, without fail, someone would ask, “KJ, are you going to Sapphire?” And every year, my answer was the same: “Nope, but I’ll be here, making sure everything’s running for the folks who are!”
But this year is different. I decided that this is the year I’m attending.
And I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect the flood of reactions when I told my SAP contacts I’d be there. These are people I’ve worked with for years, built real relationships with over countless calls, shared goals, and tight deadlines. They’re excited to finally meet in person, and I’m just as excited to sit down and talk strategy face-to-face. In today’s world, lots of great relationships are built over Zoom, but there’s something different and wonderful when you finally get to meet someone in person. I’m looking forward to it!
The theme of this year’s event says it all: SAP is moving beyond the AI hype to focus on real, tangible business outcomes. I’ve already seen the growing interest in AI from SAP prospects during conversations with our team, and I’m eager to learn more about how SAP’s portfolio of solutions is evolving to meet these expectations. For those of us who live and breathe customer success and relationship building, staying in step with innovation is critical.
We’ve partnered with SAP since 2009 to help drive pipeline, support marketing and sales execution, and improve the overall customer experience. We’re proud to be known as a trusted partner, and that recognition stems from our mindset: supporting a client isn’t a checklist, it’s a commitment. And it’s built on empathy, consistency, and a deep understanding of what our clients need to succeed.
Attending Sapphire for the first time feels like a full-circle moment, professionally and personally. It’s about being visible, being present, and showing up for the people and partnerships I’ve helped grow for the better part of a decade. I may be new to Sapphire, but I’m certainly not new to the SAP community.
And this year, I’m ready to join the room.
